Straying from the norm

Most of my photography is of people, especially children, with an occasional non-human thing, like a flower, mixed in. Last weekend, I headed out to the State Park to give sunset photography a whirl. Here are some of my favorites-

This little guy is so sweet and happy! He did so well! Aside from him pooping on his good shirt..., thus requiring a wardrobe change before we even started, everything went very smoothly. He was so much fun!

Where have the last 3 months gone?

It seems like I *just* took her 12 month pics! Now here she is 15 months already. This is probably one of my favorite shoots ever. This is the first session that we were able to do outdoors with her. I love the candid shots I was able to capture this way. Here are some of my favorites! There were so many that I loved, I couldn't post them all, so I made a collage, too. I love that warmer weather is here. I can return to my love of outdoor/beach/natural light photography.

The "K" Family Pictures

I had a lot of fun doing their family pictures this week! Beach pictures are my favorite! The sun was a little brighter than anticipated, so we had to do some creative searching for spots where the lighting would be okay for pictures, but all came out fine in the end! These are some of my favorite shots from their session. Thanks for choosing me to do your pictures, guys! :)
